Please say a prayer for me... I have trouble with forgiving my in-laws. They are not Christians and I understand why they do some of what they do, but they have been hurtful (and still are) to me. I tell God everyday that I choose to forgive them, but I really need to know how to live with them in my life also. I know that if I don't forgive, God will not forgive me when I ask for forgiveness either. It sure is a good reason to start forgiving a little more. He sure has shown me grace for the mistakes (sins) that I make. I owe Him so much more yet He doesn't ask for anything more than for me to love Him and obey His commands. I am so Thankful that I have Jesus in my life. Thanks friends for all the encouragement and authenticity you all share. I truly appreciate that we are able to come together and share what is on our hearts.jesus-christ-txt-9 RIC

Especially when you do something stupid, and it's the same stupid thing you do over and over and over again.  I get so sick of myself! RIC

Newgirl ~ I strugggle with this too, don't feel alone. I think the hardest part for me is to forgive myself. I have a terrible time with this.  I hope all is well with you and I will be praying for you ladies. Keep us posted.

Bonnie, you've had me thinking about forgiveness this week. I know that is an area I fall short in, and I pray that I will learn to let go of anger and bad feelings.  Jesus is so merciful and gracious.  He was able to forgive the people who crucified him, and I struggle to forgive someone who makes me mad.  I fall far short of the goal I have for myself and yet Jesus has mercy for me even then.  What an amazing God we have.

Hi Ladies. I have a prayer request. I have been looking for work for 5 months now, and that in itself can be scary. Yes, I do trust God and this is in his timing. My husband and I have been living off his income. He works for the State of Texas(Texas Dept of Criminal Justice) and they pay their employees once a month. We live paycheck to paycheck. I, too have been applying with that very same agency(TDCJ) and a local university here in Huntsville-Sam Houston State. I pray every morning Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope"! Would you pray for me please. I ask God to open doors he wants opened and to close doors he wants closed. Thank you.

In Christ, Kristin Watson

I have a prayer request.  I am applying for a promotion at the company I am currently working at. It seems rather unlikely in the natural that I should get it, because it is at the level of the bosses over my boss. BUT I know that God's will prevails no matter what. BUT I am praying/believing for this to happen, because it will set me ahead SIGNIFICANTLY both professionally, and personally, because it will enable me to get back on my feet financially, move back out on my own, and try to get back together with the man that I still love, and never stopped loving.

Well, I hope that all of you ladies and your respective families are all well. Take care and God bless.

Peace and Love,

Donna

Hello Ladies ~ This week I thought we would take a look at the word Forgiveness. What does it mean to you and what does it mean in the Word of God?I know I always taught my children to say this simple little prayer before they go to bed when they were younger. And in the prayer it say's " and forgive me of all my sins " But know that they are older I am trying to teach them that they need to be more personal with God. To talk with Him as if He were right there with them, because He is. And to teach them that about true repentance and what leads to true repentance. So ladies, what does this mean to you? Look at your life and see if there is someone you need to forgive, and ask God to help you. To show you a love for that person that you never had before. Even if it is your enemy. I had a hard time dealing with forgiveness till my mom bought me a book called " forgive and learn to love again " I can not remember the author but it really helped me forgive some people from my past and also and most important it helped me forgive myself. We need to see opurselfs as God see's us. He sent His only son to die for us, that is an amzing lind of love. One that I can't sometimes even begin to understand. But I see that that is how God wants us to love Him. With all of our being, from the very depth of us. I hope that this will get you ladies thinking and we might get some good conversation from it. I hope you all have a blessed week in the Lord. Look forward to hearing what you's all have to say.

Rece2000 ~ Thank you, I think you said that great. Alot better then I could have. Some people have a gift for that and I do not. However I did agree with you and thank you for all the inshight you brought, Newgirl too! You both were great.  On the topic of Beth Moore and her studies, I am doing one right now  that deals with the Fruits of the Spirit. It is called Living beyond Yourself. It is awsome and it comes at a time when I much needed it. Thanks again ladies. Bonnie RIC

Yes! I have done that one too! Great stuff. The videos do add so much to the studies, I can't imagine doing a study without it, she gives so much information in them, I just love her energy!

Beth Moore is wonderful! I am currently doing her study on Daniel with some ladies from church. It is the first on of hers that I have done. It is great! I would highly recommend it but only if you can watch the videos that go along with this one. RIC

WOW! I just got back from my Beth Moore Bible Study and I tell you, she is such a blessing to me. I learn so much from her everytime! I love her energy and passion for the Lord. I want to learn by her example and be as passionate about my God. If you have not done any of her Bible Studies, I highly recommend you do.

Have a wonderful week!
