Hello Ladies.  As we begin the Thanksgiving festivities, I wanted to say that I thank God for your companionship, advice, love and wisdom.  I am very thankful for this meeting place where we share our hopes, prayers, love, fears, etc.  I love this time of year because I have so much for which to be thankful.

God Bless you all.

Your sister in Jesus Christ,

Kelly Ann

Thank You ladies for your prayers and I am wanting to let you know that I am having a decent day today. No headach which is a very good thing considering I had the same headach for 12 days. I still don't feel my usual self but I am sure through prayer that God will strenghten me and in His time I will get better.  Christien ~ I hope all went well with your dentist apt. and that you are healing up good. Hi Bonnie

Nehemiah 1 :11

O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.  God bless you

HELLO SISTERS.....

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME ACTUALLY WRITING A MESSAGE ON THIS SITE.  OFTEN TIMES I WOULD JUST READ YOUR THOUGHTS TO FIND SOME ENCOURAGEMENT FOR MYSELF AND I OFTEN LEAVE HERE THANKFUL THAT MY PROBLEMS ARE NOT AS BAD AS SOME OTHERS THAT I SEE HERE.  PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS.  I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT LIKE SOME, I FEEL ALONE ALTHOUGH I HAVE A HUSBAND AND 3 KIDS.   I GUESS I JUST NEED TO FIND SOMETHING MORE TO DO.  I  JUST HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT JUST WHAT THAT IS AS OF YET.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Hi guys,

I wanted to recommend a book that I think each of you might like. It's called The Shack. It's about a man whose child is murdered, so he gets a note from God for him to meet God at the Shack where they discovered his child was dead.  It's an excellent story about faith, healing and forgiveness.  The writer packs a lot into 250 pages.  There is a website theshack.com if you want to find out more.  This book is really powerful.

Welcome to all the new faces and old friends. It has been awhile since I've been on, sorry....time flies when life is going full speed ahead!!!!!! Anyways, I hope all the job situations are ending up in the positive and that all the health issues are getting on the way to a more positive light. These times are so trying on everyone, job losses, eonomic turmoil etc.....I hope that we all remember that the Lord is the only one with the answers and that we do not need to help Him or direct Him!!!lol!!!! I have had to learn to take each day as it comes and some days I have to take each hour as it comes......it can all get really overwhelming...we just need to keep our perspective and know that He knows what we are going through and that He has an answer it just may not be what we expect or when we expect it....

Some days it is difficult....but I try to find the "silver lining" in every situation.....it takes work sometimes but it does get easier...I believe that the Lord wants us focused on the positive so that we can show the Lord's love to others and be examples instead of just talkers of the word....

Please know that my prayers are with you all and that through it all we are never alone..we just need to know who to turn to!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless!!!

Keep Smiling!!!

Jackie

Now that I am done with my venting and pity party I am heartily ashamed for it.  Thank you for not judging.  Today the Lord blessed me with sunshine and fresh air as He does every day.  I am here to share those blessings and pass them on.

Hope all are having wonderful day

Hi KatheB, I certainly understand how you feel when you say you are remembered when others need you to do something but not for just some "fun" time. Welcome back. RIC

Hello to all:

I am new to this group and have, after a long and changing year, just reconnected back with this site.  I have been foolish in thinking I could handle my walk alone.  I really need a strong support system in my life.  I don't seem to connect easily with others and I feel I am suffering for it.  I am always remembered when it comes to needing volunteers but not remembered when it comes to going for a cup of coffee.  I know I have the Lord but I still feel so alone.  I am usually strong but it's getting more difficult to remain strong.  I'm not whining about circumstance as I know we are all having such a tough time of things lately.  Well, there, I have just bared my soul to you all more than I have to anyone else.

Welcome Ronda ~ Glad to have you here with us. Look forward to getting to know you and what a beautiful middle name. I love it! I too will alos keep you's in my prayers.  I am coming tonight too to ask for your prayers for my Dad. He is 69 yrs. old and has already suffered from five heart attacks, and has had 4 heart surgeys and I can't even tell you how many stints put in. He has had 1 small stroke. But he has so many things going wrong with his body I can't even begin to explain some of the names let alone spell them. His kidneys have failed in the past and he has been on diealises, sure I spelled that wrong. Spelling is not my strong suit. Anyway he is back in the hospital and has to have another surgery tomarrow. Not on his heart this time but on hurnea's. Two of them. But he is not a healthy man so I worry. But I am trying to leave it with god. I have always felt that God was not ready for him and that he has a purpose left here on earth but I am not feeling that too much anymore. So I am trying to stay strong in the fact that God is with him no matter what and to help me be at peace with whatever the outcome. And to be strong for some of my other family who is not as close to the Lord as I. Thank you all for your prayers and I will try real hard to get back on and let you know how things go. Blessings, Bonnie RIC
