I think prayer is definitely in order. It sounds like that she has an oppression that resembles masochism. I'm no doctor, but she needs to be healed from this. Jesus can relieve her of her pain and she doen't have to keep hurting herself.

well i was in the same situation with one of my friends, except not in this case. all you can do is give them the best advice that you can possibly give and hope they take that advice. you can't change the way they want to become. it's like trying to get someone saved by making them. by making them ur ruining the chose of what they want to do. and what they want to do may not always be the right chose but it was there's and we have to respect that. but i think that one day down the rode she will realize that being EMO wasn't the right way to relieve her pain. OK I have the first question. I have friend that is thinking about becoming IMO. I tried talking her out of it but she still thinks its the only way to relieve her pain. What can I say that will make her change her mind? RIC
