Let me just say... Praise God for other people that love the 80's!!! I am so happy to see this group!
I was born in 1980... therefore, i am the epitomy of what an "80's baby" is. It also helps that i have an older brother and sister so i was introduced to the culture pretty early.
Saved by the Bell, Fraggle Rock, Molly Ringwald, Patrick Demsey, Cabbage Patch Kids, Care Bears, Big hair, tye die clothes, Zebra pants, neon colors... oh i could go on and on... I LOVE THE 80's!

Let's not forget Brrruuuuce Springsteen and Bon Jovi along with all the other great 80s flashbacks. Bruce Springsteen has let himself go, BUT Jon Bon Jovi is even better looking NOW than he was "back in the day."....
I also liked Three's Company and its spin-off Threes a Crowd, which was risque for its time, BUT classic.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Peace and Love,
Donna
P.S. Anne, I was born in '74, and I am an 80s gal at heart too.

Great idea for a group. Let see the 80's, Breakfast Club, Pretty and Pink, Sixteen Candles, Prince (back when he had a name), Hall and Oats, Reo Speedwagan etc. Tell me who still has a Journey Escape album? How many times did you see Flashdance? Do you still know all the words to "Summer Lovin" from Grease?
Oh the memories, I graduated from High School in 86. So the 80 were it for me.

So excited to find this group! And I thought I was the only one who still has it for the 80's. What was I thinking!
Some things I think of when I think 80's: jelly shoes, slap bracelets, "Leon Neon," smurfs, Tom Cruise before he was weird, Cindy Lauper, Michael Jackson before he was weird, roller skating, and "Goonies."
Yup, this chat room is gonna be fun!
Anne, born in '77, but an 80's girl at heart.

Hey 80's lovers. Thanks for the memory refresher. I had totally forgot about the jelly shoes I begged my parents for them. Oh and the hair spray how true! Supper funny thanks for making me laugh and bringing back to mind a simpler time in my life! Blessings! RIC

I loved the 80s! I graduated in 94 so the 80s were instrumental in helping me become who I was as a teenager. I miss the big hair and hope it comes back in so I can do it again. LOL Big hair and blue mascara...LOL RIC

I graduated in the late 80's. I think my friends and I may be responsible for destroying some of the ozone layer due to all the AquaNet we used. Sorry!

you know whats funny, pretty much all the people who say the 80's are awesome weren't alive during the time period or they were too young to remember it. lol I'm the same way, I love everything from the 30's to 80's from Singin' in the Rain to Pretty in Pink. Oh and Molly Wingwald is supposed to be in a musical called "Sweet Charity" RIC
