not sure if this group is still active or not, but wanted to give my 2 cents! 2 of my favorite books are 'The Seat Beside Me" by Nancy Moser, and "Deadline" by Randy Alcorn. Both of these stories hit me really hard and satisfied what I was looking for when I started reading Christian fiction. Deadline is probably my favorite book of all time. It's a murder mystery as the main character investigates the murders of his 2 friends, but it is more of a "life mystery" as he unintentionally begins to look into the faith of one of those friends. As a Christian, you can't help but cheer him on and hope that he finds truth! It also gives the reader a glimpse of what Heaven might be like, as well as a small sight of Hell. His follow up book, "Dominion" is also very good, and I actually prefer the vision of heaven he gives in this book over Deadline. RIC
